Sandalwood essential oil - Goloka
Aromatherapy is a natural method based on the activity of biochemical molecules that contain essential oils and is used to achieve different responses in the body. Essential oils are capable of stimulating respiration and cell regeneration. They stimulate or mitigate the function of cells in an organ or on the nervous system to achieve a feeling of balance or harmony.
Aromatherapy takes advantage of the properties of essential oils extracted from aromatic plants to restore balance and harmony to the body and mind to benefit our health and beauty. We highlight among its properties: analgesic, calming, anti-inflammatory, stimulating, regenerating and healing, toning and bactericidal.
Sandalwood is used to attract love and good luck. Sandalwood provides relaxation, serenity, inner peace and is excellent for meditation. It is an opportunistic and feisty plant native to the semi-arid areas of the Indian subcontinent and northern Australia. Specifically, the one from India is the one that produces the best wood and oil, although the species from the rest of the world receive the same name.
Sandalwood essential oil is widely used in aromatherapy for its revitalizing fragrance, but this plant also has medicinal properties as an antiseptic, diuretic or venotonic. The aroma of Sandalwood, apart from generating an environment full of good energy, generates a very powerful healing environment, containing anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, diuretic, antimicrobial and antiseptic properties.
Essential oils should be used in an oil burner. It is recommended to add water to the burner before adding 5 drops of the fragrance oil. Once the candle is lit and placed underneath, the liquid will begin to heat up and the fragrance will begin to rise.
The aroma usually lasts about 2-3 hours throughout the home before it evaporates, the drops of essence have an average long duration. We recommend using lukewarm and not cold water since it is typical of the ritual of essential oil burners, the fragrances spread more effectively in the environment.
